The Parisian hot spot Grand Train, a pop-up installation at the former SNCF depot in the La Chapelle area, is a favourite place for families: Fifteen emblematic locomotives in the history of rail travel are exhibited in a vast space where families can wander freely and children scooter around safely, with several places to eat and drink spread around the site.

We wanted to ensure that parents and children alike receive the best possible welcome, so our client Stokke, the Norwegian specialist in furniture and equipment for young children, installed fifty or so Tripp Trapp® and Stokke Steps™ high chairs in the bars, restaurants and chill-out zones. These minimalist high chairs enable children to eat comfortably at the same table as their parents, enabling them to share fully in the family fun. This special attention to the well-being of little ones is characteristic of the Scandinavian brand and motivated this partnership with Grand Train.

The success of the event was awesome: more 10,000 visitors came to play and have fun at the Tchou Tchou Festival.

The good ideas didn’t stop there, though! At the end of August, Look Further organized an entire weekend of family fun by associating Stokke with the Grand Train Tchou Tchou Festival, offering artistic, musical, dance and gardening workshops for children. Stokke, which designs its products to foster the bond between parents and children, specifically offered early-learning, sharing and relaxation activities for young children between the ages of 0 and 6 and their families: parent-child bonding sessions through dance, baby massage classes and yoga sessions for new and future mums.

The success of the event was awesome: more 10,000 visitors came to play and have fun at the Tchou Tchou Festival and Grand Train 2016 broke all the records by attracting 400,000 people! Visitors mainly consisted of young, urban, captive parents to whom we were able to transmit the benefits and relevance of the Stokke vision in a fun, useful and authentic way.
