In a mature market for many everyday consumer goods, corporate social responsibility in product design is becoming a powerful differentiation tool for generating preference among increasingly vigilant consumers.

Look Further loves meeting brands that have chosen the path of responsibility and believes they are really helping shape the world of tomorrow. One such brand, Ecoalf, even let us embark Look Further on the mythical boat Kingfisher for a Vendée Globe race that ended at Sables d'Olonne after 108 days and 10 hours at sea! We were looking for partners for Didac Costa, a young sailor from Barcelona sponsored by the Unesco 'One Planet One Ocean' ocean protection scheme, and were able to link his team up with this innovative Spanish brand.

Ecoalf grew out of an amazing project conceived by Javier Goyeneche to free our seas of plastic waste and transform it into fabric for chic, minimalist clothing. In keeping with its mission, the brand dressed the entire crew. Well done for Didac for his incredible exploit and best of luck to Ecoalf, whose roll-out in France we are eagerly awaiting.
